As we learn skills to become more mindful we begin to deepen our sense of wellbeing in life, start to reduce stress levels, develop inner peace and become equipped to face rather than avoid life difficulties. Mindful meditation is a wonderful discovery of getting back in touch with ourselves.
Our mind is so often occupied with the past and the future that we so often miss the small wonderful moments that are around us all the time. Mindfulness trains us to be more present in our day to day lives and with the skills learnt through the 8 week program, mindfulness soon becomes a way of life.
We learn to become aware of when we are holding tension in the body and learn to release; we become more connected with our breathing and the benefits of breath awareness and we come back into balance by learning skills of mindfulness. We start to see and feel the connection between our mind and body. We can begin to see patterns of reactivity within our experiences and become more mindfully aware of the mind body connections.
What is Mindfulness:
Mindfulness Meditation is an ability to pay attention to what is occurring in our present moment experience, it is about being in each and every moment with awareness and acceptance to what is there, whether it is pleasure or discomfort.

2hrs every week for 8 weeks including a day of practice at week 6. Each week you will develop the skills of mindfulness meditation to develop wellbeing in life. The course includes manual and cd's. Course costs £200, introductory evening £10 (taken off course price)
